1 - Photo ID Absolutely. AND, I'd make it easier to get photo ID. What's the purpose of an election - to get a directive from the will of everyone with a passport and/or drivers license, or from everyone. Whatever reasonably has to be done to make sure every eligible person can vote, and does vote only once.

2 - I would use the military to counter terrorism, not invade foreign countries and make more terrorists. Therefore, they would patroll the borders. Aircraft development wouldn't be along the lines of machines costing $100,000,000 fighting no one, but STOL planes which can patrol and land.

3 - No. Freely elected democracies would be the best solution. The process in Iraq is not a free election, it is an election at the end of the barrels of many guns and and electrodes.

First, there has to be a viable electorate. That doesn't exist in Iraq.

4 - Tort reform - great idea. In the case of negligence there needs to be accountability, and sometimes that is in the form of monetary damages. The individuals and their families need to be taken care of, and in egregious cases the government needs to ensure the process is expensive enough to discourage such negligence.

Contingent fee matters need to have a cap, and a low percentage. Filing and other costs need to be such that the average person with a legitimate matter can afford to do that without getting into the pockets of the attorneys. It's the attorneys fees in these issues which are the driving force of the less than meritous.

5 - I would write an super-amendment which would require the death penalty for any public official to subvert any of the other amendments. (Certainly no more Ashcroft or Gonzalez.)

7 - Greediest damned thing to come down the pike. Guaranteed to eliminate the golden goose even faster than Bush is doing. If one wants an end to America as we have known it, eliminate everyone who just gets along.

8 - Voting - have a foolproof paper trail and accountability. DO NOT put voting in the hands of criminals who have a vested interest in the outcome, AND ELIMINATE ACCOUNTABILITY. Appeals only to those interested in usurping the gov't.

10 - Budget - get rid of Bush and the Bush-Reagon neocons who are the least fiscally responsible people since - well, there hasn't been anyone less responsible.
