I thought I got an APOD worthy picture of the sun setting behind the Subaru scope yesterday evening, only to find out too late that my camera was set for taking pictures of objects up close :-(

* Keep trying, R.L. That's happened to me too, except I now turn the dial on my digital camera on auto. :} That may change since I'd like to try to take some astro photos with our scope (hopefully, before Orion leaves our winter skies).

Anyone know of good sites that allow you to store pix so you can post links to them?

* I was thinking the same thing this week. You had an image site with MSN, right? I think Frank C. did too (a couple of years ago!) if I remember right.

Well, I found this today: http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-image-hosting.php

Actually, the above I found while looking through this one: http://www.imagehost.org/. Unfortunately, they'll be closing soon.

Best of luck. I hope you stored those beautiful images!
