I think I got a potential APOD last night!!

I will post it here when I can- It is the sunset from the summit with the Subaru telescope in the foreground... below is a sea of rosy pink haze and small cumulous clouds- The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was a Maxfield Parrish painting- very surreal...

I will check out the site you reccomended and hopefully have the picture up with a few dozen more Monday... as for now, I have been up for over 24 hrs straight, with most of that time spent at 14,000 feet... (It WAS worth it though!!!)...
