Unfortunatly we will spending the entire time on Maui this year.
I did get a chance to see the big Island last year, but only for half a day (as we were on a cruise ship). Did see scopes from a long distance away. Even in Hawaii it looked cold up there! Didn't you see me waving? I was the guy who looked like a tourist in big shorts and a wearing a cheesy Hawaian shirt who was afraid to get to close to the active volcano.
I'd love to spend and entire week on the Big Island someday. What a great place. I just wish it wasn't a 15 hour (one-way) plane ride away...
