The other morning I had some tea with honey, I first poured the honey into the mug so that it covered the bottom, then I poured little bit of tea on top of the honey, instead of using a spoon to stir the mixture, I simply moved the mug back and forth and in a circular motion, trying to mix the small quantity of tea with the honey that was at the bottom. As I was moving the mug I noticed that there appeared some interesting lines in the honey at the bottom. The lines looked somewhat similar to the "rivers" and "islands" that are on Titan.
I wonder if the forces that are involved in this "tea/honey" experiment have any similarities to the forces that created the "rivers" and "islands" on Titan?
