In almost every post, Bowser is cutting slack to the insurgency, and doing the opposite for the Americans. You can call that "support," or not. My football fan analogy holds. You don't have to listen to a person very long before you can figure out which side they're on.
I will readily concede that Bowser is not personally in favor of head-chopping, any more than a lot of radical leftists were in favor of flying planes into buildings on 9/11.
BUT...
They can kind of see where these guys were coming from, and how they might have felt forced into that kind of action, and how it was only to be expected after what America has done in foreign policy, etc. etc. etc.
The whole thing is just making me tired.
Bowser, among many others, doesn't want the terrorists to win. He just wants America to lose. The fact that this is logically impossible is easily evaded. Heck, when I was in college, these were the kinds of minds who could easily wrap themselves around a concept like "communist liberation movement."
The job will get done, ankle-biters or no ankle-biters.
Thanks for your patience.
