I can't imagine that we will do that. First of all we have crew on duty at the ISS. Second, we would never abandon ISS for the Russians to service and retrieve the crew.
Hopefully we will quickly identify the problem and use this as an incentive to build the next generation shuttle. In any case, I believe we will fly again no later than June.
I sometimes get so disgusted with our governments attitude towards manned space exploration (and this isnt a slam at either party)...
