Some time ago, I think you posted some information about cloudy conditions over Meridiani. I thought I saved it, but don't see it in my files now.
I've scanned plenty of orbital images of the Meridiani area taken through what looks like very heavy cloud cover, at least as thick as clouds that frequently obscure the high latitudes during winter and spring.
Clouds do occur over some of the equatorial regions, but those seen over Meridiani seem to be a good deal more robust than elsewhere along the equator. But I'm not sure whether the clouds that obscure some of the orbital images are ice/moisture clouds or dust clouds. Maybe some of your information can help resolve the issue.
Also observers on the Earth have long noted the appearance of what appear to be ice/moisture clouds over Meridiani.
Are clouds preferentially seen over Meridiani?
Just wondering...
Cheers, BRFelix
