YOu keep using the UN mandates as the excuse for invading Iraq. Those mandates involved WMDs.

But now you say the war wasn't about the WsMC. At the time, you said the UN wasn't finding them, and bigawd, the US would.

But, it's not about WsMD.

Here's a bigger problem for you. The US isn't the UN, and the US isn't authorized to unilaterally enforce a UN resolution. Period.

The US begged and pleaded for that authorization, and didn't get it.

(There are a number of resolutions out against Israel. And Israel has WsMD enough to destroy the entire area in the hands of a war criminal. And I don't see you out there advocating violence against Israel. A bit of conservative "duplicity" we'll ignore for the time being.)

If the city in which you live under city law executes a search warrant on your house and is looking for items in your house, it would be patently illegal for a gang from across the city to come along, throw out the city cops, and start looking for whatever, while loading your goodies into their own trucks.

All the while selling your goodies and saying they'll use the money to rebuild the damage they've done.

That would be silly. And, it's what you erroneously claim is legal in Iraq.

And, the resolutions you are so fiercely advocating be enforced WERE about WsMD. But the war wasn't about that.
