What on Saturn is it???

Just found this unusual raw image on the cassini mission site. It's definitely not the rings edge-on, or a cosmic ray strike in the camera electronics ( too diffuse ) and it's not a star trail from a long picture exposure, as the stars in the background are unsmeared.
It looks like a meteor, but obviously can't be, as there's no atmosphere out that far from saturn, and the E-ring is too tenuous to provide the friction. So what is it?
One for the alien conspiracists perhaps.......
