My apologies, Doug...and to anyone else offended.
I was irked and frustrated by the fickleness and
the scientific ignorance of the average taxpayer.
Still no excuse for bad language.
I'm no average taxpayer. I am in FAVOR of BOTH manned
and unmanned space missions.
Few taxpayers are aware that [for example] the crook that was
arrested for robbing a local corner store was identified by
computer-enhanced TV camera images.
Computer-enhancement was originally developed by JPL
for their planetary spacecraft.
Just one example of where unmanned spacecraft technology
is used to help the average taxpayer.
