How "sturdy" are the solar collectors? Could they actually take a cleaning?

Not that there would ever be a system soley designed for solar cell cleaning, but the RAT already has a brush on it for cleaning the abrasion head. If the IDD could have been designed with the freedom of motion to position the RAT above the solar collectors and an attachment or "mode" on the instrument engaged, could the solar cells feasible be cleaned? And would it be worth it?
