I'm very skeptical about lunar economic development
I believe with Chris, I'm preaching to the converted. However I am very skeptical about lunar economic development. The lunar surface is remarkably uniform. Most of the volatiles got cooked off when the Moon was formed. There is no hydraulic process for mineral concentration like on the Earth.
Harrison Schmidt is God. I bow down towards him and am not worthy to mention his name. However Schmidt's arguments about mining He-3 on the Moon are nonsense given that we can't get deuterium-tritium to work in nuclear fusion reaction. The He-3 argument has been the Moon folk's best shot concerning lunar economic development and it's a no-starter.
