I was advising noboby. A clue for you. I would have used the words that denote advice. Something as simple as..." if you would take my advice"...

People who do not modify their behavior when confronted with it's inappropriateness are possibly ill or very immature.

I'm a firm believer in netiquette (at least as it protects nonnative speakers of English).
