No one is blaming her for anything other than changing her story...
first claiming she was shot at by armored vehicles and now claiming to have been attacked by helicopters. She claims hundreds of rounds were fired at her car. If so, then how could she possibly still be alive?
She went through a terrible ordeal, first with her kidnapping and captivity and then with the shooting. It's quite possible that the inconsistancies of her story are due to the trama that she endured. However, it's also possible that she's exaggerating, perhaps for political effect or to hype the book that she's no doubt already writing.
