Of course when there is an unprovoked war in the Middle East brought on by one of the most powerful nations in the world, there is bound to be some hullabaloo...........both for and against the ill-perceived action.
I didn't support this war, but I bought into it (if ever so fleetingly), because Bush said they had stockpiles of hundreds of thousands of pounds of chemical and biological weapons that they wouldn't hesitate to use against us at a moment's notice. Anger and hostilities were high towards the Muslims after 9/11, and all of us wanted some type of retaliation to ease our minds.
Possibly even revenge.
The rest of the world wasn't convinced of this; it created some of the largest international rallies FOR peace and against war. Yet we went into Iraq. Now it's all about bringing them "democracy", because no WMD were found.
Don't you THINK that some people (like ALL of them) living here in the US and abroad have formed some type of OPINION about this? JOURNALISTS INCLUDED? And that they don't have a RIGHT to have a different perspective, even if it's "un-American" to you??
Geesh! Talk about being intolerant! Do you have Communists living under your bed too?
