A civil reply for a change... I'm shocked.

Have you seen anything on Bill Napier's recent idea about ultra-dark dead-comet nucleii?

If they have an albedo of ~ 0.01 they'd be virtually undetectable, and since there should be ~ x100 more dead short-period comets than currently seen... well join the dots.

I'm thinking you're right EP.
