re: Are we past our "extinct by" date?
Dwindling forests because of man. Disappearing wildlife because of man. Shrinking polar icecaps because of man. Global warming because of man.
Man's inability to see past his own greedy needs; I say bring the extinction on and good riddance. Maybe the next species to come along (if any do), will be better at taking care of its planet.
