Not really a double standard.
I don't care how many snarky names you call R.L. or whether you call attention to his varied and genetically improbable ancestry. Sometimes you'll have to get in line behind me. But a specific request--explained reasonably--on someone's identity level needs to be respected. I accidentally put too much information in a post about Lindy, which I only found out after the fact, and had Robert correct the link.
R.L.'s request is reasonable, easy to comply with, and really does not affect any arguments you can have with him, and vice versa. But frankly, the constant Kilkenny Cat routine is getting a bit old.
