Her wishes should be honored, in lieu of a living will the courts are the only entity to decide this sad situation, and the courts have found time and time again that Terri would want to be allowed to die. The right to lifers are ones that have turned this into a circus...
Tom,would YOU choose to be kept alive in her circumstances?
You detest the power of the 'liberal' courts- but conservative courts have also decided the same way. This is not a case of courts overstepping their authority- it is a case of the courts doing their job... IT IS THE POLITICIANS that are overstepping.
I say yet again, if there was evidence she wanted to be kept alive at all costs I would be saying that we should honor her wishes. All the evidence shows that she would not want this (take a poll of people you know - I bet 99% would not choose to be kept alive like Terri). Dozens of courts with access to all the facts and numerous experts have all ruled the same way..
Why are you, of ALL people, saying that politicians have the right to interceed?
