"Larry's right and it needs looking into."
Larry's already made up his mind.
"The science of it... heart bumping, electrical brain activity and all. That's what was missing in this case."
I have posted again and again and again on the science of this issue. Just because you refuse to engage on it, and just because you continue to repeat over and over again "no science" doesn't make you right. There is no such thing as 'Proof by endless repition of statements'.
Beyond that, this statement of yours is a hand-wave. You are not pointing to any documented unknown phenomena concerning this case, or anything that can't be explained by the state of acience (nor the state of science 10 years ago). I have asked you to engage on the facts, you have not. Until you do, I have no reason to buy this claim that the science is somehow lacking in this case. There is good and established science by the bucket here, and why you wave it all away and insist it is wrong- I have no idea.
Its an obvious, philosophically banal, comment that human reason and thought can never create a perfect model of the universe- but the lack of a perfect model is no excuse to throw what we do know out the window in favor of subjective assertions, opinions and raw mob belief. In that direction lies the demon haunted world, filled with ghosts and homunculi and witch burnings.
"No one wanted to see or hear."
The same assertion can be made with equal force about the 'pro tubers' here. This is a thinly veiled insult to the people you disagree with: that they are willfully ignorant of some truth that you see. Haught and righteuosness. That YOU know better than science.
