Why?

Because Keith's SOLE purpose in posting to these boards is to stir up hatred. We all know that he is CAPABLE of being a useful contributor, but he chooses not to be. I don't know if he views these boards as the digital equivalent of primal scream therapy or what, but it's clear that his entire motive for posting here is to give vent to his most putrid instincts. He needs to find therapeutic outlets elsewhere (hiring a therapist would be a great place to start).

I think the breaking point, for me, came many months ago, when Gary asked him a question about the possible closure of a NASA center. Something that Keith, with all the scuttlebutt he hears, would surely be able to answer (if only with a "I haven't heard anything on that one yet"). Instead, he chose to attack Gary, snidely assuming that Gary was one of those mindless NASA-basher who was *looking forward* to said closure, when in fact Gary was just worrying about the future of his job. I've been waiting, since then, for Keith to say or do a SINGLE thing to redeem himself on these boards, and he never has. Every post he's made has been equally nasty, petulant, and juvenile.

If somebody can link me to even a SINGLE post in the last year where Keith has sincerely apologized for anything he's said, or even merely volunteered some useful information without attempting to put a vicious spin on it, then I will reconsider my vote. But in the meantime I vote that we ban him for at least a year.
