Is anything new in the world? I've been out of touch with my usual news sources for the last 10 days.

While in Maui, I ran into the California Governor Terminator and his wife (Mrs. Terminator) at small beach near Makena. Which I guess makes this post a current event...

Snorkeled every day where I had the opportunity to swim with a red & white & blue (ok maybe it was black) Morri eal, several sea turtles, a very large sting ray, and even an octopuss!, as well many black, blue, yellow, red, and other assorted colored, stripped, and polka-dotted fish. I didn't see any sharks which is good I suppose...But I got withing 150 yards of a humpback whale pod when I was paddling just off Waillia on a kayak.

Man is the flight between Chicago and Maui a long one. I don't really want to see another airplane for a while. Don't get me wrong, the 777 is a great aircraft, but we in the upper-crust* really need some faster passenger jet service!
