I've found the quickest way to sort out an argument like this...
Is to switch political parties, and then see what the reaction would be.
Try this on for size: Fox News, while "doing a story" on political heckling, equips right-wingers with microphones and expenses at a major Democratic Party function and tells them to disrupt the proceedings. Obviously, nobody notifies the Democrats beforehand.
Now, check the usual liberal commentators out there for a response.
