Size - it's ABOVE the trees at an unknown elevation. Estimate away. No way to tell with an object of unknown properties in the sky above the trees.
How big are the alleged 'letters'? If they're 1" high, the object is one size, if 12" high, another size and so on. Hello! Hello!
I live by the ocean, and have even (gasp!) been in Floriduh. When the seting sun is "illuminating" the underside of objects the sky is anything but BLACK.
