Anything that can make Hewitt and Powerline furious must have some merit to it.
Likewise loonie lefties.
While the majority of the public doesn't care, I would think that most people who have an opinion will be OK with compromise.
Maybe those on the right and the left who absolutely hate this and describe their respective parties as sellouts will see just how far out of the mainstream they have become....
