ANY IDEAS on what really started this mess?
All I can remember that back in OCT 1973, we were paying 29.9 a gal for reg gas and all of a sudden there was a war , and lo and behold the prices of gas jumped, then I think in '79, another SPIKE in gas prices came along, with odd-even plate fill ups, sheesh, what will it take to break the wallets of the driving public? We gave up one car and still gas costs us over 75 bucks a week!
