Yeah, like all the nations on your list loved us before Bush was elected.
Look, I know you're in the same age range as I am. Please don't try the "Left? What is this "Left" of which you speak?" crap on me.
You know who Kunstler is, who Ramsey Clark is, and all the rest. You know that they have sided with anti-American and anti-capitalist interests through most of their history.
The concept that if the U.S. is hated, it must always be for legitimate reasons, ("what did we do wrong that 9/11 would happen?") is a big part of the problem in our country.
I can find crackpot websites describing all the things the Jews did to piss off the Nazis before WWII. It is equally inane to assume that the U.S. is at fault for the attitudes of North Korea, the Islamist radicals, the old Soviet Union, various thugocracies around the world, and a sector of the American Left that has brazenly announced its anti-American and anti-Western views for decades.
Nice pattern to the shotgun blast, by the way. I don't recall bringing teachers unions, or for that matter, that leftist pantload "the working people" into this. How much money do you make before you aren't "working" any more? Has anyone ever actually defined that odd term?
