Seems that many folks on the right continue to insist there's no firm evidence of global warming and average temperatures are likely to stay the same or drop in coming years. I know, there are people here at HZ that admit there's warming but deny it's anthropogenic. I'm interested in going after the others, who deny there's any warming happening or that future warming will happen.

My question is, how do I bet with people who deny warming will happen? It's not a problem betting with semi-famous denialists like Richard Lindzen and Fred Singer - the damage to their reputation if they refuse to pay up is a sufficient guarantee. I'm thinking of non-famous types, or anonymous types on Free Republic or elsewhere. How do I create an enforceable bet with them? The simplest would be both I and the person send our money to a third party that holds it until the bet is resolved - depending on the bet, in several years or in 20 years. Anyone know that could be handled?
