Although marijuana causes short term memory and often leads to experiments with other drugs, it does not create ANY of the problems associated with alcohol consumption, it's abuses and deleterious effects.

Noteworthy: A few weeks ago in Georgia, two men set out drinking one night...one was 23 , the other 21 yrs. of age. On the way home, one leaned his head out the window to be sick while the other drove home.
The driver didn't notice his friend was still hanging out the window when he parked his car (his buddy had been decapitated). The neighbour found his friend still in the car (headless) the next morning.
And drinking is LEGAL.

Now, in this day and age, with all the domestic abuse and drunk drivers on the road; we all agree this is a socially acceptable past time. But smoking marijuana?? Well, generally speaking, people would likely spend more time at home eating icecream and cookies and being nice to their families and animals.

Conservative lawmakers find this evil somehow. I wonder what they're thinking.
