I may yet wind up with enough material to turn the banquet into a dragon "roast".
BTW, I have given the characters surnames taken from their families' occupations (Baker, Farmer, etc.), and I include references to nursery rhymes whenever possible. So the shepherd's children who discover the dragon are named Jack and Jill, even though the original character was called The Boy. Their mother has a given name, Maria, but Kenneth Grahame didn't give their father a name. So I have named him Robert Shepherd.
