"The light of other Days"
I like the idea of a time-viewer - certainly Arthur Clarke and Stephen Baxter's combined novel on the idea was very cool.
It was an ok book, but it was ruined by their using the stupid 'omega point' nonsense advocated by Tipler at the end...
