Afghanistan was a no-brainer. The country harbored the man who murdered nearly 3,000 American citizens. The Taliban refused to give him up to face justice. I have stated here many times that I unequivocally support our military action against Afghanistan's taliban regime.

A competent administration would have completed its work in Afghanistan before going off on some reckless adventure in Iraq.

A comptent administration would have taken care not to jeapardize our success in Afghanistan by stretching our forces to their limits in some unjustified invasion of Iraq.

A competent administration would have captured Osama Bin Laden.
