Amen! The image that BRFelix linked is fascinating and certainly worthy of scientific study. However it seems everything related to Mars needs to follow a "party line" and be presented to pursue a preconceived political agenda. e.g. Life on Mars. Why can't we simply study Mars because it is genuinely interesting and leave politics and hidden agendas at the door?
