Some comments on your last link. {btw, the idea that if you give them enough rope, seems to be bearing out}
" "If a day comes when the world of Islam is duly equipped with the arms Israel has in possession, the strategy of colonialism would face a stalemate because application of an atomic bomb would not leave any thing in Israel but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world", Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani told the crowd at the traditional Friday prayers in Tehran.
Analysts said not only Mr. Hashemi-Rafsanjani’s speech was the strongest against Israel, but also this is the first time that a prominent leader of the Islamic Republic openly suggests the use of nuclear weapon against the Jewish State.
"It seems that Mr. Hashemi-Rafsanjani is forgetting that due to the present intertwinement of Israel and Palestine, the destruction of the Jewish State would also means the mass killing of Palestinian population as well", observed one Iranian commentator. "
Yeah, hey we are helping the Palestinians by nuking them. It might sound good when saying in the wilderness, but when comes to actual policy decision it's eassily seen as just dumb.
Hashemi-Rafsanjani further says:
"He said since Israel is the product of Western colonialism, "the continued existence of Israel depends on interests of arrogance and colonialism and as long as the base is helpful for colonialism, it is going to keep it."
Iran is not arab. What the hell is Iran doing in arab lands. They can't be there because they care about "the plight of Palestinian", because he just said he wanted to nuke them. And of course he is now part of ruling class of Iran who are oppressing it's own people, denying Iranians the right of valid representation. Isn't the whole deal with Palestine is they are not allowed their own representation. So he doesn't have a leg to stand on in regards to helping the Palestinians, so all that left is Iran's effort at colonialism in the region.
When will Iran stop it's oppression of Palestines. When will it take efforts to end it's at destablizing the govt elected by the Palestines.
If the elected leaders of Lebanon and Palestine were to ask Iran to remove their foreign forces [terrorists] will Iran listen to this request?
