re: When faced with mounting casualties in the polls
Does a Democrat:
A) Assume that this is the only criteria for the progress of a war
B) Scream endlessly on television and in print, for the benefit of the world, that we are losing the war and the insurgency is gaining power
C) Call for a withdrawal of troops, or a timeline for it
D) Assume generals like Abizaid know nothing compared to titans of military intellect like Ted Kennedy
E) Try to cut the war effort off at the knees for political purposes, i.e. all of the above
