Well, I am sorry to say that I was not able to attend the Keck open house for the impact... I was just too sick and tired to drive after the laser run- we did take some images of the comet a few days ago, using the laser- but they were not impressive to the eye- the comet nucleus is essentially a point source for us...

I do not know if any brightening was observed by ground based scopes....
