Imagine carefully removing the top of your skull with a rusty can opener, now mix up a liter of lemon juice, habanero peppers and salt and set it aside to stew on a low flame. Now imagine taking a sheet of course grained sand paper and use it on your exposed brain for 30 minutes. Now take the heated beaker you have mixed up and pour it on your brain...

Depending on your imaginative skills you may now have some Idea of what reading Johannes' "the sky is evaporating" posts or Lindy's posts on the virtue of directing 'happy thoughts' at ice crystals is like for me....
