You have no idea how many posts I've written up, some of them many paragraphs long, and then I sit back, recall the Marty McFly Epiphany, and just delete the damn thing.

Stupid beliefs from politicians, policy-makers, and other movers and shakers can bite everyone in the ass. What a few individuals think isn't really going to hurt anyone. Yeah, okay, so they can vote, but in my experience, just as many screwballs vote for one side as vote for the other, so it probably cancels out.
