Life imprisonment without parole DOES NOT HAPPEN.

The lifers are ALMOST ALWAYS given parole sometime. Only DEATH permits no parole.

Any system has flaws. Letting them out after "Life Sentences" have been served, the standard method, has failed to prevent more murders. Only killing them will stop them. So long as we save many more innocent lives than are taken by the current policy of eventual release, capital punishment is justified despite the fact that some occasional mistake will happen. What can not be done is to put people in prison and keep them there for life. It simply does not happen.
