find the real killer, convict and execute him

To prove Larry Griffin's innocence, and (perhaps more importantly to some) that an innocent man was executed by the State, you really need to find the real killer of Quintin Moss (assuming he exists), and then convict him of both the Moss and Griffin murders...

Also, find the witnesses who lied under oath in this case, and charge them with both the crime of perjury and the crime of murder. Their false testimony was a direct cause of Griffin's death...That is 1st degree murder. Has anyone been charged?

Allowing an innocent man to be executed by the State is a capital murder and it must be punished. Additionally, if someone had evidence that would have acquitted Griffin and they withheld it, then they too are guilty of murder and they should be charged. If they did so unknowingly, then they might be convicted on a lesser charge such as manslaughter or negligent homicide.

A prosecutor should jump all over this as a way to send a clear warning to any would-be perjure that you DO NOT GIVE FALSE TESTIMONY, especially when testifying in a capital murder case.

It must be clearly established that perjury is a crime and that you could be charged with capital murder or attempted murder if your false testimony leads to the wrongful conviction and/or execution of an innocent man.

If Griffin was innocent, then he was a victim of the original crime and a victim of crimes that were committed at his trial.

Has the case been re-opened? Has anyone petitioned to get it re-opened?

If not, why not?

P.S. I'm against the death penalty about 98.9%* of the time but I think the anti-death penalty folks go about it all wrong: They portray violent scum as victims. They should find a better way to cause reform.
