EP - please stop making the assumption that I have some grand plan to make a living publishing books from mars missions. I dont - and your insistance that I do is getting rather boring.
I simply want to do for MER what Michael Light did for Apollo. Nothing more. I dont have plans to do something for Phoenix..I dont have plans to do something with MEX, I dont have any plans at all - just a desire to see MER put on paper with the care and attention to detail it deserves.
If someone can do a commercial mars mission ( and to an extent, Beagle 2 was almost that ) then bring it on - I'm all for it. The more we see of mars the better. I'll be first in line to by the WMV-HD DVD of it, the books, the calender, the huge posters etc etc. I'd LOVE it to happen - genuinely I would. But it wont force me to 'change my focus' in any way shape or form, because I dont HAVE a focus.
