Trying to COVER-UP his own complacency in providing very poor pre-911 intellegence by attacking the Bush administration. Then when his own complacency and negligent work-product is discussed he can just accuse the other side of playing partisan politics.

The Leftist media, never really caring about the truth is willing to lap it up.
