The reliance upon anecdotal violence is a sign of desperation of a dying cause. As terrible as they are, these sporadic suicide bombings are going to have zero effect upon the domestic and foreign policy choices of democratic nations. They whole idea that one can advance one's cause by murdering a handful of innocents every so often is illogical on its face and can only be sustained by a creed which evolutionarily inept.

Think about it...one advance's one's cause by killing oneself?!? The whole fabic of this is built upon a failed premise.

Unfortunately, it only takes a few weeds to spoil a decent lawn, but if you pull enough of them the grass will eventually crowd them out. This is going to take years, but the bottom line is that the ideology underlying Al Qaeda is failing.
