Only a complete idiot would suggest that an increase in funding for programs dedicated to NEO and Impact threats observations is a bad idea
It IS something that needs more attention and more money, orders of magnitude more to be honest.
BUT
To deploy that extra cash in the way that Eddie insists is required - a man tended lunar observatory - is, ironically, lunacy.
Unfortunately for Eddie - he is unable to retract his insistance on the issue, but fortuantely for us, we get the comic value of seing him dodge duck and dive his way around any attempts to get him to justify his belief that NEO/IT obs should be conducted from a man tended observatory.
