How many times have newbies come in here, made a few interesting posts and then leave immediately after noticing the Village Idiot pissing on himself? How many more lurkers have never made any posts because they didn't want to exchange insults with a noxious lunatic? I know from discussions in other forums that this has happened multiple times. Many of these people are "high flyers", e.g. published planetary scientists and aerospace engineers involved in active projects. Instead of having discussions with these other guys, we're being entertained by Uncle Eddy. Aren't we lucky?!
