Hitler didn't really like Georing.

He respected him for getting wounded during the 1923 putsch, but didn't really like him personally. He had problems with Himmler as well. I read a quote from Hitler once about Himmler. It went something like, "We didn't get rid of one religion to replace it with another". It was in reference to Himmler's interest in creating an Aryan mythology.

Considering the choices Hitler had in mind, and eventually made, for who would succeed him, it could be argued that he had little use for the entire party. His first choice for the next Reichschancellor was Albert Speer, hardly a faithful party member. His second choice, and the one who did replace him for a few hours, was Karl Dönitz. It's my belief that had things gone according to plan during the war, Germany would've been ran by the military after Hitler's death. The German military pledged an oath of allegance to Hitler, and Hitler alone, when they were still nothing more than a large militia. I seriously doubt the German General Staff would've done the same to Goering or some other oaf if they had defeated every power in Europe and had become the most powerful military on Earth.
