That this is an open forum and I was posting an off-topic item (along with others) on an "Off Topic" board, where people such as Gary visit and should be expected to comment about the topic being discussed rather than trying to stop the discourse or deem the subject unapproachable or "rubbish"or whatever. That the whole discussion belongs on Flame!

He, along with RL, ("Kings of the Space Board" ) think that the HZ is THEIR territory, and that THEY have the answer as to who can post what. As scientists, you think they would have an open mind towards unusual events, but NOOOOOO........they have to mosey on over to the Off topic board just to take pot shots at me.
I never once dissed Gary, and the only reason I have argued with RL is because he has a been a real bastard to me. (And RL, if you're reading this.........piss off).

To me it IS irrelevant to this conversation. I don't give a crap and I am not impressed. I don't read the Space Board like you guys all do and I don't have a passion for space travel anymore.
I know plenty of other scientists in their field who have done even better things, and it is NOT PERTINENT to anything we are discussing. If you want to kiss his ass, fine; but as far as I am concerned anyone who doesn't like the subject can damn well stay out of it.
