About addiction and stupidity
I worked as a pharmacy tech for 6 years and got an inside view of smokers. They age quicker, are on three times as much medication and look constipated when they walk in. I was pretty good at guessing who smoked, by watching them as they came in the door.
Then looking at their birthdate as opposed to how old they really looked.
We were right across from the hospital, so patients who had lung cancer or emphysema would come over to get their scripts when they got released. They would come through the drive-through, tubes up their nose with an oxygen tank next to them picking up their cancer pills, and breathing pills and they'd sign for their scripts with a cigarette in their mouth.
Now you tell me, is this addiction or stupidity?
