And her grief gets turned aside to looking at the reasons behind her boy going to war to defend our country. She looks and finds he went for bogus reasons---now admittedly bogus reasons and she complains.
And some of you have the temerity to criticize her? You would have her put a gold star in the window and be content her son gave his life for his country? How dare you.
How dare any castigate a woman crying out in her grief for answers? How dare the president ignore this woman at his gates and not even spend the time to attempt to console her?
My mother would have had the same grief reaction had it been me. She may not share the same political beliefs as the president, but they are hers and she has paid an awesome price for his position and she should be heard and consolled by the man who orchestrated the events that took her son's life.
